Game 32: The “Lamar Odom Refuses To Lose” Game
Odom stepped up in essentially a must-win game by scoring 24 off the bench. As much as I loved Odom’s play this season, I am happy to see him on the bench since that means that Bynum is starting. Bynum was also great with 18 points. Kobe had 20 on 8-14 shooting so I’m glad he wasn’t forcing shots.
Good to see Gasol (11-12) back on track. Let’s lessen his minutes over the next few games and get this team rolling again. Paul was good, but didn’t dominate our PGs as much as I thought he would (20 points and 7 assists)

Game 30: The “Christmas Day Crumble” Game
We collapsed under the pressure of the biggest regular season game of the season. No Laker fan wants to remember this game: the game that the defending champions were routed by LeBum and his triple double on Christmas Day in LA. At this rate, I’m praying on the Celtics to beat the Heat in the playoffs because we’d be lucky to get a game off them if we face them in the Finals. Lebron and Bosh were outstanding and if Wade had even a decent game, this one would have been over in the 2nd.
Kobe deserves most of the blame here. When you go 6-16 and have 4 TOs and you’re the leader of this team, you gotta man up and say “my bad”. Of course, Barnes, Blake, and Brown weren’t impressing anyone with their performance, but still.
The only thing I can say is that we lost to the Cavs last year on Christmas and everything turned okay in June. Let’s see how LA responds next game.
